About the T Shirt...
Teezilla have teamed up with Whizz-Kidz this month with their Charity Takeover for their crowd-sourced tees.
Each month a different charity is selected to inspired tee shirt designs. People can submit designs for a tee shirt and the public vote for their favourite. TeeZilla then creates the winning tee to sell and £6 from every sale goes to the charity.
This month its Whizz-Kidz – who ensure disabled young people can get mobile and active by providing powered, manual and sports wheelchairs – as well as fun clubs and training. They have even helped some of TeamGB on their road to The Paralympics – including wheelchair racer Hannah Cockroft, and Natasha Davies of the women’s wheelchair basketball team!
Says Rob Dyson from Whizz-Kidz, “We are very excited to team up with TeeZilla – we’re hoping to see some really creative designs that capture the action and thrill of disability sport, and the excitement of being mobile and independent. The money raised during the month-long campaign will also help us get more kids moving, by funding mobility equipment and fun training across the UK.”
